10. Grand Canyon, Arizona

Pilatus has an elevation of 2128 meters or 6983 feet the highest peak is the Thomas horn which can be reached by the world’s steepest cogwheel railway or aerial gondolas. One popular option for tourists visiting the area is the golden round trip which includes taking a boat across lake lucerne and traveling up the mountain on the cogwheel railway before traveling back down on the aerial gondolas to complete the experience.
8. Grace Bay Beach, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands

Grace bay beach is only about three miles long bordering the turquoise water of the Atlantic ocean a large barrier reef is a mile offshore which manages the swells of the ocean and ensures the water in the bay is calm and serene the beach is part of the princess Alexandra national park and guided tours are available in clear kayaks allowing you to see the marine life below which includes stingrays starfish jellyfish and more.
7. Li River, Guilin China
The landscape in China is highly varied with mountains deserts dense forests and high plateaus. One of the most beautiful locations in this fascinating country is the li river region found in Guilin. The 50-mile li river runs through the guanxi province it’s surrounded by thousands of stunning karst mountains with sharp peaks underground streams and caves the most famous cave in this region is the reed-flute cave with an underground lake a scene from lee river with several mountain peaks is featured on 20 RMB note. 6. Marlborough Sounds, New Zealand
The Marlborough sounds are sunken river valleys on the northeastern end of the south island of New Zealand. These ancient river valleys have been filled in over time by the pacific ocean creating gorgeous landscapes that include 10 of New Zealand’s coastlines. The Marlborough sounds is about 4000 square kilometers or 1500 square miles of islands. Sounds and peninsulas the most prominent of the sounds in this group is the queen charlotte sound which can be explored through kayaking hiking and taking a boat tour. The sounds are also the only place in the world where the rare bird species the rough-faced shag also known as the New Zealand king shag can be found.
5. Victoria Falls, Zambia and Zimbabwe
The majestic victoria falls is found on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe in southern Africa. The Zambezi River is the world’s largest sheet of falling water with a width of 1708 meters and a height of 107 meters. The devil’s pool is located on the edge of the falls on the Zambian side it’s a body of water that forms behind a rock barrier just a few feet away from the edge of the falls although it’s wonderful & it’s also very dangerous and a few people have actually died from going over the edge. Victoria Falls is also known as “Mosi oa-Tunya” meaning the smoke that thunders. There are also two national parks around the site of the falls where wildlife can be seen including elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, and Cape buffalo.
4. Whitehaven Beach, Whitsunday Islands, Australia
Whitehaven beach is just over four miles long with white sand and turquoise waters found on the Whitsunday islands in Australia. It stands out from other beaches in large part because the sand is made up of 98 pure silica a finer grain of sand than typical beach sand creating a smooth velvety feeling under bare feet as bonus silica also doesn’t retain the summer heat so it’s an idyllic location for sunbathing and enjoying the scenery just not with your furry friend’s cigarettes and dogs are both banned from the beach to try and protect its unspoiled beauty the area is part of the Whitsunday islands national park which is off the coast of North Queensland at the heart of the great barrier reef.
